Beliefs & Values
My Core Values and Beliefs
We are a team of professional therapist committed to providing the highest level of care to our clients through psychotherapy. We ensure that each client is provided a safe and collaborative space to understand how their experiences have shaped them. We take an eclectic approach to therapy as no two people are alike. We are guided by the principals of respect, understanding and empathy. We believe that change is always possible no matter what your circumstance.
Aquandalla Davis, LMFT
My name is Aquandalla Davis, I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am an experienced Life Coach and Therapist with specific attention to individuals and Family. Family is an essential part in human development. Family is what shapes our beliefs and influences our choices. It is through family we learn how to love, interact and develop our expectations of others.
I’ve been a dreamer ever since I was a kid, believing that fairy tales do come true. As I’ve gotten older and learned how to read and write I began jotting down ideas which turned into short stories. I always believed that even when you don’t see things that doesn’t mean they aren’t there, and that anything is possible. It has also been my belief that if you work hard at even the toughest things long enough you can and will evoke change. To me the idea of family often times are prettier than the picture it paints and through many different lenses it is viewed and experienced differently. My family was built on many different values, but dedication, hard work and a belief is what mattered most. It is these three values that guides my practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist. As a Marriage and Family therapist I aim not only work to strengthen the family system but also to encourage, those individuals who find it hard for them to dream further than their immediate circumstance, to broaden their idea of family and the importance of communication for whichever structure that works best for them.

Perfect does not exist! We all have stories we tell ourselves,(who to be? How to show up?) Some of these stories have allowed us to thrive and succeed, while other stories no longer serve us. Seeking another narrative can allow you to have the life you desire. Whether it’s individual, romantic or familial change that is desired, together we can explore outcomes that match your current desires for change.
